Terrible sleeping spot, woke up in the blasting soaking cold wet wind. Got passed by Eva and England, Ambassador and UV before I got going. Miserably cold and wet in the morning, and windy, numb hands. Hit the NC border, alone. Felt like being in the ghost of a place without my friends from 2020 there with me. Ran the last couple miles of the day, saw a bunny, passed a shelter full of hikers in high spirits, called it when I got to Whiteoak Stamp because it was a nice spot
