A big ol’ rain day. More forecasted than any other day since this long walk in the woods began. Waited out the first 3 hours of the morning at a Quality Inn continental breakfast that I invited myself to. The last 6 miles of the afternoon was me with my trusty umbrella embracing the downpour. I’m getting good at turning off my brain in those moments and letting my feet take control. Haven’t gotten great at getting dry and warm when I arrive at camp. Learning curve

It is dumping buckets right now. Happy to have a roof over my head tonight
