Never in my life have I been happier to step foot in New Jersey. Eastern PA AT: you are the bane of my joy for hiking

Finally acquired my illusive package that I chased throughout Virginia. New shoes after 1300 AT miles. My toes are rocked from continually stubbing them with the rubber pieces dangling. I’ve been doing my fair share of screaming at the top of my lungs in the woods. Limping eventually turns to a hiking gate if you just walk it off. In the package was  also a tried and true tent of mine that feels like the world’s driest Taj Mahal, as the rains hitting my fly.

The pizza’s getting better the more north I go
