Morning Run

Day 89: to VT Route 9/Bennington, VT (1618) - 21.4 miles

We have really been enjoying our slow mornings. It was the first morning we have done our fully breakfast routine which was nice to get back to. We passed through our last town in Massachusetts before ascending to Vermont border which also coincides with the start of the Long Trail which was the initial inspiration for the AT. Ver-mud greeted us almost instantly and we sown the rest of the day avoiding mud and walking by ponds. Steve, a Trail Angel, picked us up at the trail head and brought us into town to the Catamount Motel. We DoorDashed Burritos from a local joint called the Avocado Pit which hit the spot!
