Nice day cruising through Mass. woke up and got an egg and cheese everything bagel from the cafe in town. Then made it up a nice big climb and walked along a ridge in a beautiful pine forest. Went down and through Cheshire after that and started the ascent up Mt Greylock. A bit steep but a well maintained trail. Forest smelled so good and the bugs were minimal. A strong breeze kept us cool. Didn’t realize the AT hit so many state high points. Finally feels like we’re getting up north.
