This should not have more kudos than any of my four much cooler other activities today

9700 feet on the day and a mindset of all out to the top (because that’s where the FKT finishes) meant I was flat out cooked for this descent. I could barely move! I always say that you should only do a hike if it’s going to be fun, but this was one of those times where you really don’t have a choice.
