Summit : 3:08 (3 minutes faster than last week)

Was hoping to do the trifecta (grand + middle + south) speed run today but it was hailing on the grand and slightly raining and winding as descended to the lower saddle.

It was nice that the clouds knocked all the guides off the mountain. I had the technical route and peak to myself, which was nice. I intentionally started super early cuz parties can clog the belly roll and first chimney.

I asked a guide who was coming down from the upper saddle as I was ascending: “are you happy when your climbs get cancelled?” He said no.

When I came back to the lower saddle he asked to have a word with me (I’m literally trail running lol). I said no and continued to run and he chased after me saying I was being disrespectful for asking such a question.

Man I hate neurotypical thoughts. Fragile egos that care more about identity validation than anything else. The exum guides are always stuck up and hate speed runners. If you pass their guided party it upsets them.  Lol sucks to suck I guess. Fuckers think they own the mountain… they’re getting paid to use public land. They should yield to the “civilians”. 

This fucker today thought he was a cop I guess. You know what I think about cops. Fuck the Police.
