​Day 1: 14 miles, exhausted, duck pass to the pct

Day 2: 24 miles, feeling pretty good, camped on an amazing warm granite slab just before selden pass

Day 3: 25 miles, exhilarating sunset climb up to the spectacular evolution lake

Day 4: 13 miles, sore joints took their toll on the descent after muir pass, camped in kings canyon

Day 5: 15 miles, decided to bail out via bishop pass instead of continuing to onion valley

Day 6: bewildering return to civilization -- where did all this smoke come from?
