Unsurprisingly it be overrated
But loved the journey here
And befriended a local who told me about a secret trail scrambling up a mountain to a stunning vista of Machu Picchu
Just as I stumbled out of the jungle I ran straight into my Cusco bestie which was the best treat to hang out with lovely humans all evening after seeing no one for days 
Contemplated trying to get a ticket into the ruins but for me was simply not worth it, as you wait hours in massive lines just to follow the assembly line
And Choquequirao was really one of the most impressive places I’ve ever seen
