Went in truly not knowing if I would even get 2 laps in with the way my shins had been feeling, was fearful of a stress fracture and preemptively despairing that I'd have to let go of my goal. After I hit 20 ish miles with no shin pain I spent the next 30 just being happy to be there. Ran so many of these loops with Brynn and Tara and I can't imagine what it would have been like without them.
