Bushwhack hits different at 8000’

4:30am alpine start after 24 straight hours of cold rain made it pretty damn hard to drag ourselves out of cozy sleeping bags. Original plan was to pull a huge day to summit Bourgeau and get a charter back to town late but weather and energy said otherwise. Not a bad consolation to enjoy 11/10 wildflowers through Healy pass before any of the day hikers made it up there. Ducked out via Sunshine and grabbed the shuttle down into Banff to dry out and resupply. Pub crawl to hit Sheepdog Brewing, Three Bears, and encore Banff Ave before picking up beer and pizza and checking in to our hotel to promptly hang up every single thing we packed in the sun on the balcony
