Grin and Bear It 🐻 with Annie!

I had a plan for today and did not achieve the plan. Instead I saw a bunch of deer, pica, a napping marmot and heaps of flowers. It was a good day, an eye opening one. Every time I think I’ve gotten so much braver, so much more skilled, I’m handed something that reminds me I’m not quite as brave or skilled as I supposed. And as I spend more and more time in the mountains alone, it becomes easier for me to say, today is not the day, turn around, and go sit in a steep meadow full of flowers and watch a pika gather veg for hay piles. It was a beautiful and thought provoking hike, even though I didn’t make it to the top. Oh! And I ran into Greg from the John Cappis! Small world
