*ramble warning*

tried to ramp up to threshold effort on each climb, jogged flats and downs. Felt strong for the most part, but not the most part that matters… Been trying to manage some foot/ankle pain the last week or so and so far kinda doing a bad job… No pain while running, but been pretty miserable between runs especially being on my feet all day for work… it’s so tempting to get out and run far now that I feel like I have a bit of fitness to work with…. very taxing on the mental health to hold back.. no time for time off if I want to run TMR in august, this would be the second year in a row I burn my entry fee if I cancel my registration but im also high-key in no form to run it even if the body was feeling fresh, so an impending injury isn’t doing me any favors at all… Probably throw some biking in the mix this week and see if I can salvage something 😢😢
