I've seen this peak and it's characteristic east-side cliff from afar. Finally got to give it a go before the big Heisshorn group the next day. Made it up to the creek crossing in my RAV4 (RIP - totaled by a deer on the drive back home). But beyond the creek the road was too steep to get over a rocky stretch.

On leaving the road, I followed the creek drainage for a while to see how it went. There were a few steep cruxes with crumbling mud-rock... On the descent I stuck to the social trail route, which is much better. The notch reminded me a bit of the Sneffels standard route, though a bit easier. Views from the top were great! Though slightly smoky, and got some gloomy stormy views to the south (glad the weather stayed over there). The descent went relatively quickly, following the standard route/social trail.

Fun peak! Got some cool sunset views and pictures of Precipice, Fortress, Dunsinane, and Turret Ridge on the road walk/drive back.
