The final, 8th leg, of tour of the Tor des Geants training run with John and Will. It was an epic experience. The mountains are indescribably beautiful, and it was great to get to spend so much time with John and Will. I learned a lot from them. They are both primed to have a great race.

The only negative of the run was I injured my knee/quad on the 4th day. It was hard to run after that. It was fine on the climbs, but it was hard to run the flats and the descents. I was very happy that I was able to complete the course despite the issue.

Now on to the next phase: healing and resting up for the race!
