Woods Canyon! Catclaw bushes, cool slick rock puddles and a cow

Through the back gate, over to Hot Loop, a long out and back on Woods Canyon Trail then hopped on some social trails to get to Hutson Ln for the return. So 4 things; Woods Canyon is full of picky bushes that grab your clothes and skin (blood on trail) and very healthy cactus encroach the trail; rocks, rocks and more rocks so this took longer than planned; the slick rock before the End of Trail sign is really cool; don’t do the social trail in the dark even with a headlamp; watch out for running cows you scared in the dark. Was that 5? Took the poles and tried out the quiver for this long run. Eh, not a total fan of poles so a sack to carry them once in a while isn’t all that exciting.
