But things eventually petered out once I got out of the car and went on my walk. I just don't do people, especially when there are so damn many of them coming at you from all directions. 

Useless Trivia of the Day: To escape the grip of a crocodile’s jaws, push your thumbs into its eyeballs – it will let you go instantly. (I would assume this to be effective with most animals and people).
