The second day of the S-WRHR took us up and over Wind River Peak and down the West Gully, past Big Sandy Lake and over JackAss Pass into the Cirque of the Towers Basin. WR Peak was an engaging climb with giant class 2 boulder fields. The West Gully took us down steep class 2 scree perched over top thousand foot cliffs and the down a 100ft class 3 down-climb on bedrock with quite a bit of exposure. In the valley bellow we saw a huge bull moose and reveled in the beauty of a remote place not often walked.
