A half day! We departed Lee Lake and made our way steeply through willow and spruce to Photo Pass. After descending from the sweeping saddle we traipsed through a marshy valley and began the climb to Europe Peak. When the sky clouded up we decided to make camp and take some rest, deciding to tackle the long and exposed traverse dark and early the next morning.
