Super proud of this one. Not because of my time, but because of overcoming the adversity of wanting to throw in the towel. I couldn’t stop reasoning with myself why it would be okay to quit. My body was fine, but my mind was barely up for the task. I refused to not see this through and let the soul take the reigns.

So much fricken ice coating the trails holy shit. Apparently there was only a 3 second disparity between my moving time and my elapsed time. I wish I could say this is true due to my relentless pursuit of movement, but reality is that I was stopped in my tracks countless times staring at ice covered pitches and scrambles, scratching my head, wondering how the hell this maneuver is about to go down.

This is a doozy of a route. The terrain is just so rugged and relentless.

I’m ready to go home now
