To say the stretch from Wray to Brush was unremarkable would be an overstatement. Unbelievably boring views, side wind trying to push me into traffic, and punctuated by periodic industrial cattle farms, that could be smelled for an hour before laying eyes upon them. Depressing stuff. Had to get to the Ft Morgan bike shop for more patches and a bomber burrito from The Rooster, and of course got another flat a few hours out, and another in the evening a mile from the campground. I'm trying a "puncture resistant" tube from here in the rear, but my pump seems to not get high enough pressure to satisfyingly seat the bead since I think the seals are starting to go. To say I'm a little apprehensive about the next 78 miles across the prairie is an understatement, but this is how life lore is generated. Eastern Colorado confirmed sucks, and no one ever needs to bike here again.
