Really great underrated state high point, fantastic "bang for your buck" hike. The low sun and distant smoke made for an iconic ambiance during the ascent and summit pics. I had the summit to myself for about 20 min before the hoards arrived, and the ride to run a bit on the way down, but got too excited and gassed myself. Celebratory beer afterwards was in order to close out state high point #7 for this trip, and #30 overall. Looking forwards to the next trip probably '26 to bike and bag some more.
