I've had copious time to ruminate over if I'm just being a wind weenie, or if it's actually truly dogshit out here. Turns out I-80 was closed today for vehicles under 20k lbs due to 40 mph gusts so I think I'm justified in saying it's simply just miserable riding in these conditions. Also got another flat. Also about 20 miles of sandy road. Also the smoke from Cheyenne obscured the potential final view of the front range and Longs, which honestly is a huge disappointment.

 Enough negativity, highlights today include the highest hill in Nebraska, an unexpectedly good breakfast sandwich in Grover, some cool looking bluffs in Pawnee National Grassland, and never riding in Colorado east of Denver again.
